Prosthetic Shoes for the Solid Ankles

Abstract

|
Authors introduced the experiences of using the ahce modification in patients with an abnormal gait following arthrodesis and or partial ankylosis of the ankle in egainas or calcaneus. Mach more benefit is gained bq replacing the solid-heel with cushion one in the equines foot and the solid-_metatarsal-rocker with cushion one in calcaneus foot.
In calcaaeus foot, the solid-metatarsal-rocker .could fulfil the fnnrtion of Coe-break of the. proathesis aria improves the gait pattern also in the patient with stiff metatarso-phalangeal joints of the toes.
